All entry forms and films must be received

 by the 15th of January, 2009 

Please read these guidelines before filling the entry form. We need the following checklist to be completed before accepting your work. 

□       Entry form details should be fully completed.
□       Films must be translated in English, dubbed or subtitled.
□       Digibeta/PAL, Betacam SP/PAL, and DVD formats are accepted.
□       All commercials, advertisements, trailers and promotional materials should be removed.
□       Films that competed previously in  Aljazeera Festival will be rejected.
□       All films submitted will not be returned (at the exception of digital tapes) due to the large number of films received. They will be kept in the festival archive for the sole purpose of research and documentation.
□       A passport copy (for visa purposes) and personal photo (for film information) are to be sent by e-mail along with the entry form.

By completing the form, you are giving us permission to show your work during the festival and use brief sections of your work for promotional reasons. Also, your participation in this competition grants the festival the rights to accept or reject any entries without any justification.
