Manchester City's goals seem to have dried up and there is going to be a lot hard work going into the new season with new manager Mark Hughes who will be expected to take the "Citizens" to club glory. City finished 9th in the league and did not have a great goal tally either. With good players like Micah Richards, Danny Mills and Benjani the team would have to look for a good start to the season. Mark Hughes was appointed Manchester City Manager on June 4, 2008, just two days after the parting by mutual consent of the Club and Sven-Goran Eriksson. With Chairman Thaksin Shinawatra, and a new manager, the new look "Citizens" would like to put their dismal 2007-08 season behind and bring some glory to the club and their passionate fans this season.
