The "Trotters" had a horrible 2007-08 season and saved themselves narrowly from relegation. Finishing at the bottom of the table was never going to give Gary Megson's side any easy time for the upcoming season because he will have to turn things around at the Reebok Stadium.
Bolton's campaign will start on a note to achieve much better than past seasons performances and will also look to avoid end of season relegation worries. Gary Megson needs to put his best plan for the season to give in a tough competition; the "Trotters" will also look to finish in the top 10 of the standings. The fans at the Reebok Stadium will hope for far better quality football from their team during the following season.
Bolton also needs to keep a consistent manager and not look to swipe managers like they did last season. With tougher and quality opposition to face the Trotters will have to play their 90mintues of football with lots of skills and consistency.
