The awards carry Aljazeera logo and are of two types:

• Aljazeera Golden Award - for each of the winning films in the three categories (long, medium, short), in addition to a cash prize to the film’s director as follows

      Long: QR 25,000 (twenty five thousand Qatari riyals)

      Medium: QR 20,000 (twenty thousand Qatari riyals)

      Short: QR 15,000 (fifteen thousand Qatari riyals)

• The Jury’s Award - for each of the winning films in the three categories in addition to a cash prize to the film’s director as follows

    Long: QR 15,000 (fifteen thousand Qatari riyals)

Medium: QR 12,000 (twelve thousand Qatari riyals)

Short: QR10,000 (ten thousand Qatari riyals)

• Each award is given to one work only. No award will be shared.

• New Horizon Category:

there will be awards for the best two films in this “Student and Beginner” group.

 1.The first place award will be a certificate and a cash prize of

QR 10,000 (ten thousand Qatari riyals)

2. .The second place award will be a certificate and a cash prize of

QR 8,000 (eight thousand Qatari riyals)
